Commercial FAQ

Warehouse & commercial skylight questions

What kind of skylights do you install for warehouses?

We specialize in commercial warehouse daylighting: large acrylic dome skylights, multi-pane architectural and structural skylights, and Solatube SolaMaster tubular daylighting for high-bay spaces. We serve warehouses, distribution centers and industrial buildings throughout the Inland Empire, including Riverside, Ontario, Chino, Fontana and San Bernardino.

Do you install UL-listed smoke and heat vents (smoke hatches)?

Yes. We supply and install UL-listed smoke & heat vents — also called smoke hatches — for warehouse and industrial roofs to support fire-code and life-safety requirements. We can coordinate vent layout and placement as part of a new skylight project or a re-roof.

Can skylights help my building meet California Title 24 daylighting requirements?

Yes. We design Title 24 daylighting layouts that use skylights and tubular daylighting devices to bring natural light into the building. Proper skylight coverage helps large enclosed spaces satisfy California's Title 24 daylighting provisions while reducing daytime electric lighting use. We'll plan a layout suited to your roof and floor area.

Can you retrofit skylights or smoke vents on an existing warehouse roof?

Yes. We handle retrofit installations and coordinate with re-roofing projects so skylights, daylighting devices and smoke vents are integrated correctly with the new or existing roof system. Combining a skylight upgrade with a re-roof is often the most cost-effective time to add daylighting and ventilation.

Are you licensed to do commercial skylight work in California?

Yes. Sola-Lite Skylights is a California licensed and bonded General Contractor, CSLB #953443, with over 20 years of experience. We are also a Solatube Premier Dealer and Certified Installation Consultant for commercial daylighting systems.

Which Inland Empire areas do you serve for commercial projects?

We serve commercial and warehouse clients across the Inland Empire, including Riverside, San Bernardino, Corona, Ontario, Chino, Fontana, Rancho Cucamonga, Redlands, Temecula and Hemet, covering both Riverside County and San Bernardino County.
